 JUSTITIA LEX  - Hukum Islam dan  Hukum Positif. Is a peer-reviewed academic journal published regularly as a medium for disseminating scholarly works in the field of law. The journal aims to advance the study of Islamic law and positive law, as well as to bridge the dialectics between the two in order to provide just and relevant legal solutions for contemporary society.

 

The journal welcomes manuscripts in the form of empirical research, normative studies, conceptual papers, comparative legal studies, and critical reviews on various contemporary legal issues. Thus, JUSTITIA LEX serves as an academic forum for researchers, scholars, legal practitioners, and students to enrich legal discourse and practice grounded in the value of justice (iustitia).

Focus
JUSTITIA LEX Journal focuses on the development of legal studies with special emphasis on the interaction, integration, and dialectics between Islamic law and positive law, both in national and international contexts.

Scope
The scope of JUSTITIA LEX Journal includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Islamic Law: Contemporary fiqh and ushul fiqh, family law, Islamic economic law, Islamic criminal law, and religious court practices.

  2. Positive Law: Constitutional law, civil and criminal law, business and economic law, administrative law, environmental law, and international law.

  3. Harmonization of Islamic Law and Positive Law: Comparative law, sharia-based legislation, legal pluralism, and legal politics.

  4. Contemporary Issues: Legal digitalization, sharia fintech, human rights, gender and law, legal globalization, as well as the role of Islamic law in conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
