JUSTITIA LEX Journal focuses on the development of legal studies with special emphasis on the interaction, integration, and dialectics between Islamic law and positive law, both in national and international contexts.
Scope
The scope of JUSTITIA LEX Journal includes, but is not limited to:
Islamic Law: Contemporary fiqh and ushul fiqh, family law, Islamic economic law, Islamic criminal law, and religious court practices.
Positive Law: Constitutional law, civil and criminal law, business and economic law, administrative law, environmental law, and international law.
Harmonization of Islamic Law and Positive Law: Comparative law, sharia-based legislation, legal pluralism, and legal politics.
Contemporary Issues: Legal digitalization, sharia fintech, human rights, gender and law, legal globalization, as well as the role of Islamic law in conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
